Indigenous Culture Promotion

The fact of overlooking minority groups is constantly evident in our surroundings. When I shared this wonderful experience with my family and friends in the cities, their reactions revealed significant bias. Some praised my compassion for helping marginalized communities, while others showed indifference to their culture, considering the indigenous as inferior. This highlighted how the limited understanding of minority groups entrenched stereotypes of indigenous people being “undeveloped”, hindering the acceptance of multiculturalism. To foster cultural exchange, I sold indigenous snacks at city fairs and performed their traditional dances at public events. I hope to increase the public’s exposure to indigenous culture and cultivate their awareness of it. I firmly believe no culture is inherently superior. My aspiration is not to “improve” indigenous lifestyles but to break cultural barriers, facilitating an appreciation for diversity.
